The purpose of information and communications technology in any organization is quite clear. They are there to support business processes and therefore the achievement of corporate goals. For this reason it is crucial, in any IT project that its very purpose is not forgotten. At the start of any project cooperation, we always ensure that a common understanding of your objectives within the defined project scope is established.
The connection between business goals, processes and IT systems presents itself in many different ways. The most obvious is, that today very few business processes can operate without supporting IT systems and processes and systems can no longer be seen as separate units but as one overall domain. Business needs such as regulatory compliance will also be indirectly reflected in the requirements for processes and systems. If these requirements are not met, business goals will not be achieved. These are just two examples of why we believe that it is vital not to lose sight of the connection between business and IT.
